The brief
This study considers a client seeking a more tailored, masculine alternative to the expected pale coastal penthouse—sophisticated at night, yet still connected to water and changing sky.

Design intelligence
The existing high-rise shell offered strong views but limited architectural character, little concealed storage and a single open volume that could easily feel exposed.
The plan had to create arrival, dining, lounge and media zones without adding partitions that would interrupt the perimeter glazing or reduce the sense of elevation.
A dark interior spine now organizes service functions and gives the bright skyline greater contrast. Furniture is pulled into deliberate islands, leaving a clear circulation path along the glass.
BN2 developed the smoked-oak kitchen, fluted media wall, integrated bar and bedroom cabinetry as a continuous family of elements, with concealed equipment and precisely located architectural lighting.
Material logic
Smoked oak and honed dark limestone establish depth; saddle leather and tobacco linen temper the harder surfaces; aged bronze catches evening light without reading as decorative gloss.

Coordination
The design brings together high-rise furniture clearances, appliance planning, millwork, lighting scenes, art placement, window treatment intent and the delivery constraints typical of condominium installation.
